War Spur Hike

In June, we made a hike along the war spur trail which is off the Appalachian Trail near Mountain Lake Lodge.

 The ferns were taller than usual, probably because of all the rain.

 Mountain Laurel shrubs were in bloom...

 The view is always worth the hike.
